What is Kingston?
Kingston is a conservation-minded master-planned community developed by Cameratta Companies, the team behind Verdana Village, The Place at Corkscrew, Corkscrew Shores and The Preserve at Corkscrew. Farmland along Corkscrew Road is being transformed into a community that pairs resort-style neighborhoods with restored wetlands and wildlife habitat — roughly half of the total acreage will remain protected natural preserve.
At full buildout, Kingston will bring together close to 10,000 homes across several neighborhoods, including Kingston South (Lennar, Pulte Homes and Neal Communities) and Esplanade at Kingston on the north side of Corkscrew Road (Taylor Morrison). The community is also planned to include roughly 700,000 square feet of commercial space, a 270-room hotel, and an on-site K-8 charter school with a future high school — all designed to be reached on foot, by bike or by golf cart.
Kingston sits minutes from The Shoppes at Verdana Village (anchored by Publix), Coconut Point, Miromar Outlets and Hertz Arena, with Florida Gulf Coast University and Southwest Florida International Airport a short drive away.
